Introduction
This page shows clicks, movement, scroll, and how many touch points the browser reports. Browsers do not expose a full trackpad gesture API (three-finger swipes, Mission Control, and similar often stay in the OS). Expect pointer and scroll events, not a complete gesture laboratory.
What this tool does
It highlights pointer activity, click buttons, wheel/scroll activity used as two-finger scroll, and max touch points when available.
When to use it
Use it to confirm the browser sees your pad’s basic input. Use OS settings to fix system gestures.
How it works
Supported: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari for pointer/click/wheel. Unsupported: reliable capture of all OS multi-finger gestures. Permissions: none. Hardware: a trackpad or touch surface; an external mouse will also move the pointer. Expected: clicks and scroll register on the page; some gestures never appear.

- Place the pointer over the test pad.
- Click and two-finger scroll.
- Compare with Mouse Test if you need button-focused checks.
Common problems
Two-finger scroll off in OS settings yields no scroll here. Three-finger OS gestures often never reach the page.
