Privacy Policy

DeviceHub is privacy-first. Diagnostic media stays on your device whenever browser APIs allow.

Last updated: July 29, 2026

Who we are

DeviceHub (https://devicehub.com) provides free browser-based device testing tools. Contact: hello@devicehub.com.

Local diagnostics

Webcam and microphone tools use browser APIs such as getUserMedia. Preview frames and audio samples are processed in your browser for the test session. Standard hardware tests do not upload your camera or microphone feed to DeviceHub servers. Keyboard, mouse, speaker, headphone, browser info, and device info tools similarly keep interaction data in your session for display and metering.

Permissions

Permission prompts are controlled by your browser. You can revoke camera or microphone access anytime in site settings. Denying permission means those media tools cannot run until access is granted again.

Analytics

DeviceHub uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site. Analytics never includes raw camera or microphone media streams. Google may set cookies or use similar identifiers according to its own policies. You can use browser controls, private browsing, or privacy extensions to limit analytics if you prefer.

Logs and hosting

Like most websites, our hosting provider may process standard technical logs (for example IP address, user agent, and request URLs) for security, reliability, and delivery of static pages. These logs are not used to reconstruct your camera or microphone content.

Third-party links

If we link to external sites, their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before sharing information with them.

Children

DeviceHub is a general audience diagnostic site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing purposes.

Changes

We may update this policy as tools or hosting practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
