Purpose
Content should help users run a test, understand permissions, fix common failures, and know what the browser can and cannot report. We optimize for clarity and accuracy over hype.
Sources of truth
Interactive tools and their documented behavior should match the live page. When browser APIs change, we update FAQs, troubleshooting, and tool docs. Authors are listed on content pages when available — see Authors.
Reviews and updates
Articles show published and updated dates. Tool pages show last-updated metadata in the template. We revise content when APIs, UI, or privacy practices change.
Independence
Editorial explanations of how a tool works are written for users. Advertising (including Google AdSense, when shown) does not decide diagnostic outcomes or invent fake ratings.
